Art Gallery

Since 2016, I have worked as an Artist Educator at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery. During my time, I have had the opportunity to work on various outreach projects, including creating, facilitating and evaluating trainings of other artist educators.

Programs I have worked on include:

Meet Me at the Gallery program designed for community members living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and their caregivers.

Seniors Supporting Seniors program training, offering arts education training to senior community members to deliver programs to other seniors in the community. Including creation and direction of Virtual Interpretation series as part of the Public Domain gallery program.

KW Habilitation workshop series working with adults with Developmental Disabilities, creating artworks to exhibited at Kitchener City Hall’s Berlin Tower Gallery.

Youth Council which engages youth in Kitchener-Waterloo in creating Virtual Interpretations as part of the Public Domain gallery program.

Art of Seeing workshop series working with medical students from McMaster University, including tours and art creation focussed on attunement, reflective thinking and perspective building.
